I need some good, free J2EE tutorial material on the web.
Something that explains how to set up everything from the start and doesn't require you to purchase anything.
Any ideas?

J2EE comprises many thing. You should specify elements of
J2EE and study each one. You can link to java sun to study about JDBC, servlet, JSP:
http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/

And try this site to study EJB 2 (the main subject of J2EE):
http://www.theserverside.com/resources/index.jsp
