1) register the control
2) Right click on the dialog, where u want to place the ActiveX control
3) Click on right click menu item -  "Insert ActiveX Control..."
4) Adding a member variable for the control, creates the wrapper class for the ActiveX control. (ie one .cpp and .h file )

Hi,
U basically want to know how to use activeX in VC++, which is created in VB right?
Here are the steps.
1)Register ur activeX
2)Open any mfc application, click on project menu item.
3)Goto adds-toproject submenu in that, click on components and controls menu.
4)There will be dialog box coming up, selected Registered components and controls folder.
5)select ur activeX created and say insert.
6)That will add the activeX(OCX) to resource control window.
7)on ur parent window, just drag and drop the OCX control.
Now this control will act like other controls contained by the parent window.
If u want to know how to show parent dialog itself,
U have to say DoModal() with parent dialog obejct.
Could u be more clear regarding the other part of the question?
Hope that helps u.
