Should be simple to most but hard for me
From the MS Site, apparently you need to have at least 128MB of RAM installed to use your keyboard with WinXP.. what is your system config??

Did this keyboard ever work w/ WinXP, or have you recently upgraded and it stopped working??

Oooops, make that 64MB, I guess that the Intellipoint software requires 128MB???

Has always worked w/ XP until lately.  Usually all I have to do is restart my computer but that doesn't work any more.
Can you test this keyboard on a friends machine, just to ensure that the keyboard did not die... if the keyboard worked fine previously w/ XP, and it all of the sudden started to die, then work intermittantly, then die again, it may have just croaked, these things happen....

Do you have any friends with keyboards w/ PS2 connectors? If so, you could test that keyboard in your system to determine that its not the PS2 connector that went out...
