Cable internet providers

Hi,

i would like to know if cable internet providers keep tracks of the places one go to, and what do they do with the internet activites that a customer has. And maybe where to find more information on privacy stuff?

No, too cumbersome to store the websites that are visited by thousands of users.  I use RoadRunner High Speed Cable access, and have never had any porblems.

As for privicy on the internet, there is a shareware product on zdnet for download called:

1CleanUp (for Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP)

Forgot to mention, most all Cable/DSL come with built in firewalls, software firwalls are also avaiable, such at Symantic FireWall, MacAfee Firewall, Zone alarm...etc...
