Am currently developing an application in R5 and am having problem in running the domino, every time
the domino is launched in the command console, it fizzes on this error message

HTTP server: Could not bind port 80. Port may be in use, then the http web server shuts down and it
starts searching the administration requests database.

Any ideal why it fizzes on this prompt please and can you please give me any tips on configuring my
Notes client to my domino server both R5.

Thanks

Either you are using someother web server like IIS or personal web server, which is already using http port 80

or you are running a notes client http , and starting http on domino server.

So check what task his holding the http port and release it
