A friend also said there is another option, though not tried. Use the DBXtract program to convert OE5 .dbx files to .eml files, and then use EML2TXT.BAT to convert the .eml files into a Netscape compatible mail file.

Applies to: Communicator 4.5 and up
If you are using Outlook or Outlook Express versions prior to 5.0, then follow these steps:
From Outlook Express select File -> Export and export your mail to .mbx format.
Once you have your mail folders exported to .mbx format, use Netscape Address Book to select File -> Import and specify either Outlook Express or Outlook 97/98 as the source of the mail to be imported.
If you are using version 5 of Outlook or Outlook Express, then follow these steps:
From the Outlook Express select File -> Export and then choose either messages or address book. Then follow the instructions to complete the export.
When you are done exporting your information, use Communicator's Import Utility to import the information into Communicator in the same manner as step #2 above
