Adding a toolbar in Internet Explorer Browser?

Experts,

Can any experts in this community show me the codes to deploy a toolbar into Internet Explorer browser?? If possible provide me the sample codes as well. I prefer using Visual Basic.

I didn't try it but know people who uses it in a daily basis way (Some of them from EE!).
It is not an easy task and you need great knowledge of Internet explorer, API and com interfaces.
I never try that cause i never need it. Maybe i should do a little homework and see what happens...
