When creating a new group in my personal address book, I try to ADD a contact of the available ones, but an error message saying : "Some of the selected entries have no valid addresses" appears! I edited the contact entries in all possible ways, however the problem still exists. Any suggestions?

here is some posting from notes.net...

Because of the inadequacies of the Lotus.com support, I called Lotus Telephone support. The answer I received was that upgrading the client does not necessarily upgrade the design of the address book. You have to replace the design of the address book with the pernames.ntf. This worked for me. Although I was told that I should upgrade my server to be a higher release than the client. The technote is number 182453. (If you can find it on the Lotus site!!) This was emailed to me from Lotus. If you need a copy of it please email me at deborah_odom@linpac.com

I guess this is the issue with you...

This is something I have encountered as well when moving from notes 4 to 5. Arun is very right. eventhough everything seems to be alright with the addressbook there are some features that won't work because the fieldname or form names have changed . also have a look at locations in your addressbook . if they look funny you should deffinitly upgrade the design pernames.ntf be sure it is the 5 template and not the 4 template.
