Integrated Win Authentication

Under "Default Web Sites" I have created a virtual directory called 'Sample1' and have removed ‘Anonymous Access’ just to restrict access to all users on ‘SERVER1’. To grant access to specific users, I have enabled ‘Integrated Windows Authentication’ on this virtual directory. This virtual directory points to a physical directory ‘MySamples’ on  drive D:\. I have given administrator privilege to ‘User1’. Considering this scenario I have few questions –

1. When I try to access this Virtual Directory through Interdev from another machine ‘PC1’, I am prompted to enter my User Id & Password. But after doing my User Id & Password,  it show an error which reads – UNABLE TO GET THE FILE ‘global.asa’. SERVER ERROR: THE FRONT PAGE SERVER EXTENSIONS ON THIS WEB DO NOT SUPPORT GETTING PREVIOUS VERSIONS.

2. The above error doesn’t appear if I enable the ‘Anonymous Access’ on that Virtual directory.

3. Also I would like to know if I could access this virtual directory from a different machine ‘PC2’ using ‘User2’ as User Id, when ‘User2’ doesn’t have the administrator privilege.

Let me tell you that drive D:\  has got NTFS.

Thanx in advance
Ram.
