Very curious too.  I for one am not interested in this product.  I don't mind banners that much, but to have all this extra crap added to the threads is annoying.

Greetings.  I just happened upon this question, and wanted to let you know what Asta's strategy was and some background.  As you both probably know, we've got countless thousands of old and abandoned questions and only a handful of Moderators to deal with them, so we appreciate all the help we can get.
