Hi,
How do I print the contents inside textarea? The contents may be Text or Image.I tried with the following code:

     Toolkit tk = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit();
        PrintJob printJob = tk.getPrintJob(frame, "String Print", null);
        PageFormat pageFormat = new PageFormat();
        if (printJob != null){
        Graphics pg = printJob.getGraphics();
        ew.printAll(pg);
        pg.dispose();
        printJob.end();

But I get strange results in printing.It prints only outside border of the component and some binary nos.

How should I overcome this problem?

Which version of Java are you using? pre-1.4 or 1.4?

For pre-1.4 there is a good tutorial here: http://www.javaworld.com/javaworld/jw-10-2000/jw-1020-print.html

For 1.4 there have been some improvements, but the old stuff will still work.
