Hi,
Visual studio has package and deployment wizard for this.
Go to Microsoft Visual Studio6.0 Tools in Microsoft visual Studio. Select Package and deployment wizard. From there select your vb project and select Package. The app will guide you in rest of the things.
Hope this helps you

Thanks for answering, i've got 2 questions about it though.

- The setup works fine, but when I try to run the installed program it cannot find the executable file (I compiled the exe file with the setup program)...

- I would like to create an uninstall 'link' which the user can click. How can I make this ?

Thanks so far...

Hi Michael,
If you want full control over setup program use
http://www.installshield.com/  componetns.
Once you setup a entry will be added in control panel Add/remove. You can uninstall from there.
I wondered why u got the error.
