Extending Outlook's right-click context menu

I'd like to extend Outlook by adding items to the right-click context menu that appears when you right-click on a particular e-mail message.

I have looked through the Outlook object model, but I can't see if this is possible, or if so, how to do it.

Any suggestions or leads - preferably code snippets?

Hi,
Since it's a very old question posted on this site and I have registered only today, I am not sure whether you could find a way to add your menu items to the Outlook's right-click context menu. I have done that recently and can let you know how to do it. Let me know if you are interested.

Not today. I am in office right now and the code is on my PC at home. Will post it certainly tomorrow. The project has a number of files in it. Is there any facility to attach a zip with the answer message on this site? Any idea? Do you mind telling me? :-)

Will post it soon.

Roshan

thanks a lot, there's no facility to post attachments :(

but we could always lay out the basic plan here and post th snippets, i will do that if you can't find the time :)

but i've looked around for this a few times and couldn't find it anywhere so that's why i think it would be fun to have it here on the site

you can always send it through private mail (that's not the regular way here i know ) and i'll post it on my snippet collector on the web, that's a paid site thus as long as i'm alive it will be up :)

Hi there,

Has any one got the solution to this problem. Hi Roshan ... You had replied in this earlier document that you have a solution to this problem. Can i add my own options in the context menu of outlook which appears after i right click on the outlooks explorer. If yes please let me know the solution or atlest paste the code in this forum. I would be very thankful to u.
Right now i am trying this stuff using the ECE - the Exchange Client Extension but not been able to track the popup menu. I was successful in capturing the right click event but not further. I need the handle to this popup menu... Please help me out..

If any one has the answer to this please post it here or mail it to
