a gateway pentium III 3 pc, processor 800 intaslled with WinMe first giving problem like this.can dial up internet and get the line as normal, but cannot open any browser even from IE or  Netsape, any page like yahoo or Hotmail also cannot get. it indicates the page cannot found.
so i reinstalled the WinMe with the recovery Cd which supplied with the pc.
when i reinstalled the WinMe i noticed it's format the c: drive and installed fresh WinMe automaticly.then i try  to dial internet and its come back as normal and i can open any browser, " The problem is before reinstalled the dial up password check box i can save the password by check (thick) the box. so i don't have to type the password every time  i dial. but now the check box become blur like not highlite. every time i have type the password to use the inetrnet.
how to solve this problem ? is it i have reinstall winme again? This pc if i use boot disk it direct boot to c: and i cannot find any word like press F2 or Delete key to go to set up to change to A to become first boot drive.
hope over experts can help me

advance  thanks
