Use 'GetVolumeInformation()' (http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/fileio/fsys_6wfi.asp), e.g.

char acVolName [ 255];
GetVolumeInformation ( <path to your CD-Drive>, acVolName, sizeof ( acVolName), NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL, 0);
