Change number field into words format in crystal report

Hi all, currently i need to do a function in Crystal Report to convert a number so that it can display in words. For example, i retrieve a number from database "2200", then this function will convert it to "TWO THOUSAND AND TWO HUNDRED". Crystal report has build-in function to do that? or anyone has done it b4? hope u all can help me on this. ok thanx

Yes CR has abuilt in function to do this

You need to create a formula using the towords function

Create a new formula like
towords({tablename.fieldname})

Save the formula
Insert the formula in the report

If your numbers are integers use

towords({tablename.fieldname},0)

to eliminate the fraction from the end.
