MySQL fields

How come I cannot retrieve more than 10 fields from MySQL table and those VARCHAR (or CHAR) fields cannot be displayed on a grid ?

What kind of component you are using for connecting to MySQL Server??

I implement dbGrid with SQLClientDataset directly ?

I belive you are using ODBC. Are you sure that you have lastest version Mysql ODBC driver.

No, I use dbExpress.

Dbexpress used to compatible old stable version of MySQL server. When you try to download you have to buy license from MySQL.com  . I prefer to use scibit's component for MySQL server.

I will use Grid rather than dbGrid.
