I have several child forms within a mdi form but when I more from one form to the other thing jump up and down as the menus in the child forms change. Is there any way of eliminating this as it is annoying.

Thanks

I have several forms with menus at the top. I set the mdi form to max. when I say hide one form and show another the form will centre in the mdi form then puts the menu in place which is the top of the mdi form then the child form re centre.

this give the impression of jumping.

Thanks

insted of calling from menu,
u could put something on form itself like close or hide
and then focus to the menu.it will solve ur problem

I select a command button to move from one form to another the forms have the menu code within them. When the form is placed into a MDI form the menu move to it. So every time I change forms the MDI form gets another menu. So the form centres passes the menu to the MDI form the re centres the the MDI form with the new menu give the impression of jumping.
