2.another system
i want to clear menuitem 2,where to do?

go to your command prompt, clear all the attributes of the boot.ini file

attrib -s -h -r c:\boot.ini

after that, edit your boot.ini file using any text editor you like, e.g.

notepad c:\boot.ini

You will see entries beneath the heading [operating systems], e.g.

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINNT="Win 2000" /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINNT\="something" /fastdetect


All you need to do is to remove line#2

Of course, back up your boot.ini before you commit any changes.
