Hi

Hi

I have to develop an application s/w (which will work on WinNT 4.0), which should connect to server (which is running on x.25 network) through Eicon Card,
I don't have any idea how to make a connation through Eicon Card to a server.
Can i use WinSock API for this application?

Please guide me in doing so.

Regards,

No you cannot use WinSock, WinSock supports the TCP/IP and UDP/IP protocols, Eicon uses the X.25 protocol suite, these are quite different.

Eicon provide a software API suite for use when programming to their cards and this is what you should use.

Normally this software is provided as a development environment package from Eicon at a cost, you should check with the eicon web site for more details (www.eicon.com).
