Need help for bitmaps on XP

HI,
  I have a bitmap with the alpha channel and it is working fine if I add directly.. but If I try to load this bitmap to the dc and try to combine with the another normal bitmap , I get a shaded bitmap.. I am doing normal bitblt with the SRCCPY. Pleae if any body has any idea how to solve this problem ??
Very urgent..

 I got it.. We need to use AlphaBlend instead of TransparentBlt or BitBlt..
