form check

For some reason the code is not stopping after it
checks for empty value. It just goes to the next page.

what is your ASP page name?

Is your ASP page is same as Action in FORM tag?
There is no validation function called in Submit button or not called in FORM tag
Use following code

<input type=submit onclick="return submit1_onclick()"...
or
<FORM onSubmit="return submit1_onclick()" ....

create as function and return true or false from that function

VBScript only supports in MS IE not in Netscape... be careful...
