How do I pack my java app ?

Could anyone please show me step by step : How do I pack my java
app (include many files and directory) into one jar file, after that
I can double click my mouse then my app will run.
Thankx, Bye.

Suppose you have your files and directries in a dir called c:/Projects (or linux : /home/Projects).

To jar all the content of the Projects dir, use the command
jar -cvf archive.jar c:\Projects\
or
jar -cvf archive.jar /home/Projects/

Note that I use 'jar' which meens that the bin directory of your JDK should be set in the PATH system variable. If is not you can do'it, or write the full path to the 'jar' utility like
c:\JDK1.4.0\bin\jar -cvf ....
or
/usr/lib/jdk1.4.0/bin/jar -cvf ....
