Netlogon Event ID:5781 every 2 hours

Getting the classic No Dynamic DNS error every 2 hours. Tried everything suggested by MS. In the netlogon.dns file there are referances to a domain trust which was "removed" sometime ago. However when I clear the referance which have an ; before them, they reappear when the DNS server is restarted.

All zones have dynamic updates allowed and the server points to itself for DNS. We have 2 child domains running from the DC with DNS delegation.

The DNS activity seems normal with frequant updates and no nasties.

Any ideas?
