under projects click on more activex designers/data environment

set up your data environment (ie. connection to db, which table etc... it's a wizard, i think you can figure it out)

after your data environment is set up... click on projects/add data report

if you open your data environment (dbl click on it) you should be able to see the fields from your table... drag them onto the data report

hope this helps

can you give more details on what you are trying to do?

do you want to pass parameters from vb to your data environment so you can do something like:

Select * from tblYourTable where ID = ?

and then be able to pass ID to the query in the data environment?
