Internet Explorer win 2000 /Netscape win XP

I have a P3 with windows 2000 prof. and the Internet Explorer.
But then i make a second patition on my HDD and install a Windows XP and a Netscape 6.2 and a Firewall (ZoneAlarm).
XP is perfekt running on the web.
win 2000 run but wenn i close the Internet Explorer the pc come´s Blue screan.
I can´tgo in the Taskmanager.
and i must the Pc switch off.
Can you help me?

Do you have all the service patches for Win2000 and the version of IE you are running? How are you connecting to the internet? modem, DSL , Cable, ISDN? Are you using ICS?

Also look in the Event Viewer and see if errors are logged that seem to be referencing anything that relates to this problem. If so post what the error is here so we can have a look at it.

Start > Run eventvwr.msc
