Hi,

You can do it.

1) Add a blank form to your activex exe project and this form, you are not going to show at anytime.
2) Go to property window of this dummy form, and set your icon file in the icon property of this dummy form.
3) Go to project property, go to the make tab, there you can see Icon combo box.  Here you select the dummy form you just added.
4) compile it.

Then you would get this icon with this exe.

Good luck.

Visual Basic is Microsoft’s event-driven programming language and integrated development environment (IDE) for its Component Object Model (COM) programming model. It is relatively easy to learn and use because of its graphical development features and BASIC heritage. It has been replaced with VB.NET, and is very similar to VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), the programming language for the Microsoft Office product line.
