need to know what can I do to connect a LCD monitor to a XGA card on a SUN E450? Have change the resolution to lower but have not change frequency. Besides,have a vga converter for the lcd monitor,is there xga converter in the market?Please anybody out there who have done above b4 pls let me know of answers and most importtant, resources for solving the above problem...

Ok
You have a LCD Monitor that has a 15HD connector.
( I Assume it is not a Sun Monitor but is a PC Monitor)
( I Assume that your card is from Sun )

Some PC Monitors will not work on Suns. For those that do you will have to find a resolution and frequency that both support. You will most likely will have to adjust the frequency as well.

So look at the documentation for your monitor and for your card and find which combinations they have in common.
