in my server i create two partions C and D, C is for system files, and i want to use D for mail storage, but after I installed exchange 2000 on C, the mail storage was automaticaly set to C, my question is how to move the mailboxes to drive D?
When I tried to new a mailbox store, the system prompted "The storage group already contains the maximum number of store allowed". how to increase the maximum number is my second question then?

The standard edition of Exchange 2000 only allows yo uto have one private store.  You need the Enterprise edition for mulitple stores.  You should be able to move the current store by using the Exchange optimizer utility.
