Can i know what is ur problem for more specific because after i try it out ... it seems like to be o.k. for me ....
what is ur mean for save the last record only, or save all record but the last one ...??????
there is two condition that i understand from ur question is that
1) it only saved the last record in the datagrid1 and not the other (eg: 123 data, it only saved the data at 123 but not before that)

2) it saved all the 122 data but not the last one(eg: data at 123)

on the grid there is values for the last row but on the table the last row is blank.

Raed,
from what i tested out, the control will only alter the data in the table after you set the focus of the record you are changing to other record.
For eg: if you want to change the record 4 then after do the changes, you need to go to other record other than record 4 then the changes will be displayed out.
for your reference, you can use the key_press option and check for enter key(ascii = 13) and tab key(ascii = 9. if one of this key is keyed in then you can toggle the control to other cell or other control and set it back to the original place then the data will be updated in the database.
and for the connection part i suggest you to use the  and adodc to get the connection.
