Hi,
I use Windows XP Pro and ZoneAlrm Pro ver 3. I have no problem with my account which is an admin account. However, with the other accounts I have on my system which are "limited" accounts, I have a problem when I try to write e-mails on hotmail and even to view the Inbox. It seems that there is some sercurity/permission issues. The problem causes IE to freeze and kill the application.
Please advise.

Thank you.

Are you running MSN Messenger?  If so, there is a definite bug in the messenger software that sometimes causes a hang if you first use messgenger and then connect to Hotmail.

The only way around this that I have found is to stop the messenger program (right click on the task bar and exit).  Hotmail then works fine.

Hi,
The problem is Messanger related, however, it is not exactly the way you described it.
The way I found to resolve the problem is to reinstall Messanger for EACH account I have on my PC. The problem is that you can't install a program with limited access. So, the solution is to change the limited accounts to Administrator to allow the installation, and once the installation is over and everything is working you can turn the account back to limited. This takes care of the problem.
Thanks.

I am giving you credit for at least pointing me in the right direction. Thanks.
