printer sharing

How can I share a printer without the client username existing on the host computer or can't this be done?
I want to setup the host computer so any can use it (anonymous access)

When sharing it, right click, hit properties, go to sharing tab, share it, give it a share name, then click the securities tab and add the "Everyone" group as someone with permission to it.
That should do it.

if the printer is in a workgroup, there is no need for username, only password.
If it's a part of a domain, you can allow the "guest" user to print.
This will allow any user (authenticated or not) to use the printer.
If you'll use "everyone" like phatcat recommended, it will allow only authenticated users to print.
That sounds kinda strange since there is an "authenticated users" choice also,  but i've never experimented with it.
Anyhow, one of the 2 things we've said should get it done.
Mariusk is correct.  I had a printer shared on my network with "Everyone" given permission but it would still prompt for a user name and password when people tried connecting to it.
I added "Guests" to it and it allowed anyone to print.
