Schedule recurring e-mail’s

With Symantec Win Fax you can schedule recurring FAXes.  By this I mean to fax a file to a specific number an a regular interval.  Is there any way to schedule recurring e-mail’s.  I need to e-mail a .txt file to a location every Saturday at 3:00AM, right now I an using Win Fax Basic to Fax the file to a fax machine, but I need to start sending the file through e-mail.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Two possible options (at no sw cost) might be to either use the pickup directory on a Exchange server that has IMS installed. This would however require that the text file contains information about receiver etc, and that you find some way to automatically move/copy the file to this directory when you want the file to be sent. More info on the pickup directory can be found in this KB article http://support.microsoft.com/search/preview.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q201314

You could also use a command line tool like Blat (http://www.interlog.com/~tcharron/blat.html)to send the file as a smtp mail at specific intervals with AT or Scheduled Tasks.

Blat syntax in short would be something like;

Blat.exe -to recipient@domain.com -subject "Your subject here" -attach yourfile.txt
