You can use Tomcat server which is free.

If you want to deploy EJB then download the jboss-tomcat package..

You can also use JRun: http://www.macromedia.com/software/jrun/trial/ There is a free developer version.

  Hope it helps.

No comment has been added lately, so it's time to clean up this TA.
I will leave a recommendation in the Cleanup topic area that this question is:

- split points between paku, DidierD and girinois

Please leave any comments here within the

Since the question is uclear, I am inclined to PAQ this question.  After that, make points for questions for all involved.

You can use Enhydra serer if you want to deploy JSP and Servlets only. Its learning curve is shorter as compared to Apache Tomcat server.

Tell me a bit about ENHYDRA. I was looking at the Shark product for WF. I don't grasp the "system", "middleware" Is it just a server? What would be needed to design WEB applications using mySQL? Aside form knowing JAVA....
thanks
