You can use Tomcat server which is free.

If you want to deploy EJB then download the jboss-tomcat package..

 You can also use JRun: http://www.macromedia.com/software/jrun/trial/ There is a free developer version.

on web (in actual environment) you can test your java servlet and jsp. Free space and context available at www.webappcabaret.com 
pls register yourself, ur id will be the context and u can upload ur servlets/JSP for testing

You can use Enhydra serer if you want to deploy JSP and Servlets only. Its learning curve is shorter as compared to Apache Tomcat server.
