This script can work in WinCE?

Sorry i no have the WinCe Emulator, can someone tell me this script can work in WinCE or not.

Private Sub Command1_Click()
    filespec = App.Path + "\client.txt"
    Set fso = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
   
    Set f = fso.OpenTextFile(filespec, 1, True)
    filespec1 = f.ReadAll
   
    Set f = fso.OpenTextFile(filespec1, 2, True)
    f.WriteLine "Hello world!"
    f.Close

End Sub

I still a newbabies for WinCE programming. If this canot, how to make it can working in the WinCE?

No.

In vbce you will need to add a reference to the CE File System Control

You create a filesystem object like so:
Set fso = CreateObject("FILECTL.FileSystem")

OpenTextFile of filesystem is not supported

ReadAll of the File control is not supported

Thanks for the response, but got anyway to modify a file and use the FILECTL?

And the file is no in the local WinCE, it is in lan other 1 pc. I wish to use the application to modify the pc 1 txt file. Just this only, any idea or suggestion?

You can use the FILECTL to read and write a file.

I dont think you can open a file from a windows ce device accross the network easily. Although you could use windows ce sockets, then you would need a host program on a pc on the network.
