Maximize button greyed out

I have a site where we often pop up windows with something like

window.open('mypage.html','mywin','width=500,height=600');

On IE5 not a problem, but on IE6 the maximise button is greyed out.

Is this a known bug or is there some new attribute to the open window that I need.

Certainly the problem has been seen on Win 2000 not sure if it has appeared on XP or 9x
