How do I know what style Value to add.

I have been trying to teach myself HTML over the past few weeks and have been using an HTML validator to help me see where I am going wrong.

-&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href="chemtrails/chemtrails.htm" style>CHEMTRAILS</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

How do I assign a value to the STYLE for the code above,
I used to have -&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href="chemtrails/chemtrails.htm" initstyle>CHEMTRAILS</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

but this wasn't working correctly.

Thanx people

Did you define any styles for the document? Do you have a stylesheet?

If you want to learn HTML, don't use FrontPage. Really. It's going to add things, change things, and generally try to 'fix' whatever you do.

If you REALLY want to learn to code, use NotePad. It won't do ANYTHING for you, and it's free. ;-) There are also a lot of good cheap/free code editors. One of them would be better.

Also, HTML validators are not always the best ways to check your code. Lots of things will work just fine, but not validate. Once you get a better handle on how HTML is put together, AND you have a good idea of what the validators are checking for (and what you can safely ignore), THEN validate your code.
