asked on

Browser based text/script editor?

Greetings,

I wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction for what I am trying to accomplish.

I wish to have a editor similar to an editPlus, JBuilder, etc... in a browser form. I do not want to use an Applet. Is this possible? Does anyone know of any free applications that accomplish this?

TIA

The link does not provide an answer to the question. I was looking for more of an editor like JBuilder. And the application on the link appears to be limiting and geared towards HTML creations, which I was not looking for.
Thanks for the help though.
Obviously what you want, with the limitations you applied does not exist, and you were provided with the best alternative.  If what you want is not possible, then knowing that still give you the answer to the question you asked.

IMO, what you got is an appropriate response on a minimum point question.

BTW,

If you continue to leave questions abandoned an unattended you may find experts become reluctant to spend much time trying to help you.

Cd&
Well if it does not exsist simply state that it doesn't, rather than providing an answer that is not what I am looking for.
I apologize for wasting the time both all parties involved in this question.
Force-accepted, per recommendation.
