Arrows & other objects in a diagram...

Hi...

Just wanted to know if there is any easy way to draw
an illustration like this one:
http://www.seeyouagainscreensaver.com/screensaver/images/information_broadcasting_diagram.gif

How can i draw *arrows* like these?
How can i draw other objects in that diagram?

I use PhotoShop & PhotoImpact.. Any ready filters, or plug-ins
to do this?
Do you recommend any other specialized software?

Thanks.

Those arrows were more than likely originally created in Illustrator where you have the pen tool at your disposal. You do have a path tool in Photoshop but its far from Illustrators. In any case, grab your pen tool and start drawing out paths. Itll probably take some getting used to but that's how they were done. Once you have the path drawn out convert the path to a selection, and fill it. From there you can stroke it, add a drop shadow, and do another path for the little zigzag flare thing in it.

The rest of those elements are just cirlces, rectangles, triangles etc. Basic shapes with drop shadows, strokes etc.
