YES

1. Open Exchange System Manager
2. Expand Organization, expand Administrative Groups, expand the name of the administrative group, expand "Servers", Expand the specific server object that you desire to place this setting on, Expand Protocols, Expand SMTP -
3. Highlight "Default SMTP Virtual Server" and go to the properties
4. Select the Messages tab
5. On the Messages tab, you can enter in a specific address for:
"Send copy of Non-Delivery Report to:"
and
"Forward all mail with UNRESOLVED RECIPIENTS to host:"

Meaning, if the recipient is unrecognized or not found, forward it to "THIS" address.

Just enter in the address of the mailbox that you want the messages to be sent to in the Bottom entry, and this will do what you want!

Hope this helps!!

what about if I host several domains in one exchange 2000 server, like com1.com and com2.com, and I want undeliverable mails to com1.com to be deliveried to general@com1.com, and the same with com2.com?
Thanks.

You are doing this on the default smtp virtual server, if the virtual server is configured to deliver mail for multiple domains, then fine, it doesn't care for what you are trying to do, it will just deliver unresolved hosts to the specified email address.

If you have multiple default smtp virtual servers, or an smtp connector configured, do it on all of the smtp virtual servers.
