Problem with TDBGrid

       Hi!

I'm using TDBGrid in one of my projects here at work and in 16 color 640x480 display mode the program freezes.
But when I change the colors from 16 to 256 colors everything works fine.
I have narrowed the error to the TDBGrid and was wondering if anyone could help me with this.
I'm using D5.

It actually has nothing to do with the component. BDE will freeze if you run it in 16 color mode.

  Hi DragonSlayer!

Do you know if there is some kind of a solution to this problem ?
Is there a patch to the BDE that fixes this ??

Well you had it almost right. I posted the same problem to the Borland Community newsgroups and there I was told that the problem resides in Win9x. Should work in WinNT/W2K.
Thanks anyway for the tip.
