Is it possible to setup win2k so that whatever printer driver I install all the default paper sizes are A4. Currently the drivers always seem to default to letter.  Is this controlled in Windows or the printer drivers themselves????

Thanks

It is probably controlled by the country code or the driver itself.

Try a european country code and see if this helps.

I would also checkout

I hope this helps !

Have you tried the following.

1. Click Start
2. Choose Settings, Printers
3. Right click on the Printer causing you problems
4. Select Properties
5. Select the 'Printing Preferences' button
6. Select the 'Advanced' button
7. Change the Paper Size to A4

The last few steps may differ depending on your printer driver (the instructions came off a HP laser driver).

Hope that helps !
