set the focus to CEdit box when initialize a dialog

i have a dialog where the user should enter data, i need to set the foucus to this edit box, i tried to use m_edit.SetFocus() function while initialization in OnInitDialog()function but have no luck ,,, what else or what is the right way to do it.

if you are setting focus to control you need to return FALSE from OnInitDialog.  Do u do that?
