I am in a situation that I have to check a value of MD5 in a Cobol program on the zOS of IBM.

Is there any MD5 module for COBOL?
If there is not, how can I use a MD5 in a COBOL program.
Also, I wonder if the result of MD5 in the IBM's COBOL program is same in the JAVA program on Windows Client.

My development Environment
Host : IBM zOS
Client : Java applet.

Thanks.

I don't know about COBOL, but you can check out www.distributed.net to see how they have implemented it themself and convert it to COBOL yourself...
