Is it possible to do an XMLHttpRequest in IE5/Mac, as described at:

XMLHttpRequest Applies to Netscape 6.x. It does not exist under MSIE5.x/MAC. Also, XMLHTTP Object is a Windows Platform specific object since it is an ActiveX/COM Object. There is no possibility of doing what was described in the URL for MSIE5.x/MAC
