Detecting events on controls

Hi,

I want to monitor when a user click on a button which I have the handle. I am presently using NetMeeting and since the SDK is limited, i want to monitor certain kind of events.

I already installed function calls with SendMessage to obtain the value of a TrackBar (msctls_trackbar32) and CheckBox (Button) with BST_CHECKED, TBM_GETPOS to control those controls. But how to monitor them? Something that will be great is to add a functions that will be call when something will happen with those controls.

Maybe there is a way to do that with the SDK? In this case, I am interested to read what you have to say about it.

Thanks!

Hi!
You have to install Windows HOOK to monitor input activity.
for your WH_MOUSE and WH_KEYBOARD hooks required.
See MSDN example how to use hooks.
