How do I determine the width of the vertical scroll bar within a TDBGrid component?

Try this. If I am not mistaken scroll bar widths are that same for all components on the system that don't have adjustable sizes.

ShowMessage(IntToStr(GetSystemMetrics(SM_CXVSCROLL)));
