Paradox structure

Why do I see a $ sign infront when I create a field of type MONEY ? Is there any way to change this to pounds or any other currency of my choice?

Do you see this $ symbol in DataBase Desktop interface or in your application ?

- If you see it in Database desktop, no matter : it's just single character to specify 'MONEY' field.

- If you see It in your application, it means that Windows has to be corrcetly setted up. go to:
 <start menu><parameters>
then in the parameters window, choose regilnal parameters (something like this, with an earth as standard icon), In this wondow you will be abble to change your money symbol.

this depends on your OS Country setting

you can overload this settings for your app
by setting the global var currencysymbol
(or similar, see help)
