Can I download a list of qfe patches?

Hello,

I want to automate a download of Microsoft QFE patches each day or week for parsing.

Is there somewhere on the MS site that this information lives?
I don't care about the format (.txt, html, .csv, .xml, etc.).

Also, does the mssecure.xml file used by the MS Network Security Hotfix Checker Tool (hfnetchk.exe) provide this information?

TIA.

ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/peropsys/GEN_INFO/KB/INDEX.TXT

chop of index.txt to get at the files themselves...
'95 stuff:probably useless to you but here ya go anyway's:

ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/peropsys/WIN95/KB/INDEX.TXT
OK,OK I'll stop now:-)

Is one a superset of all the others?

If I get it all at one fell swoop from a single file, my life is easier.

Sorry - don't know what happened there (I did not repost that 4x and do not think I used the back button to navigate around).

Anyway, you've answered 95% of that question, but am wondering if there is a single, canonical list of qfe patches (versus multiple files).
no..there isn't but you can get the list from each directory and then combine then using diff 'n merge (sharware from tucows but should be enough for you to get the job done-30 day trial full functionality.

My appologies for all the posts---I DO tend to get a little carried away when I get excited...

Cheers.

Jatcan,

Lots of those index.txt files are very dated; e.g.,
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com/peropsys/windows/kb/
has a last modified of 10/2001.

What to make of that?  I was hoping these files were updated regularly?

Thanks.
