How to call a exe from delphi program

I want to invoke a seperate exe from my delphi program to have it do some task such as process file and save to db, etc. This seperate exe is taking some parameters while it runs. How can I do it?

Hi Llucy88,

you can use createprocess or shellexecute

uses ShellApi;

ShellExecute(0,nil,'myexe.exe','param1 param2',nil,SW_SHOW);


createprocess is more powerfull but shellexecute is most of the times enough
